Support Dowell - Join the PTO!     

PTO doesn't end in elementary school!  The Dowell PTO is the best way

to support Dowell students, faculty and staff!

Dowell Middle School employs a "one check fundraiser".  Your $40 per-family, tax deductible donation covers not only PTO membership dues for the family, but eliminates the need for other PTO fundraising throughout the year - no selling and nothing else to do!  Plus, you'll receive access to our new online DMS directory.  If you do not wish to pay online, we have paper forms in the school office you can complete and pay with cash or check. 

The One Check Fundraiser benefits the entire Dowell Community. 

Students enjoy extracurricular activities and events that otherwise might not be available.  Some examples of recent PTO funded activities are:

• Field Trips, Speakers and special events for all grade levels
• Academic Recognition Ceremonies
• Classroom projects funded through annual Teacher Grant program where $2000 in grants were disbursed last year. 
• Campus wide improvements and beautification projects to improve the DMS campus
• 6th and 7th grade Mixers
• 8th grade Beach Bash and Farewell Walk at Boyd HS

Being a Dowell PTO member helps parents stay involved through the PTO's many volunteer opportunities, from making copies to working at student events.
